CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A motorcyclist has died after underestimating a curve in the road in Clarksville. 

Witnesses said they watched as the driver, identified as 42-year-old Joseph Allen Weyand, lost control on Swift Drive on Sunday afternoon. Witnesses told police Weyand was leaning into a curve when he lost control and went off the road. He ran into a paved walkway in someone's front yard.

Police said he died on the scene. He was an employee of Clarksville Parks and Recreation.
