NASHVILLE, Tenn.- He made it to milestones many doctors thought he'd never see, but over the weekend, little Patrick Froehling lost his battle with cancer.
Patrick's parents said he passed away early Sunday morning and they are planning a "Celebration of Life" service for him.
Just over a month ago, Patrick celebrated his second birthday with family and friends. It was a birthday doctors said he likely wouldn't make it to, after his diagnosis with a rare form of brain cancer. His parents shared his story on Facebook, getting thousands of supporters, and bringing awareness to childhood cancer.
