NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Middle Tennessee man has been sentenced in Nashville to three years in prison for selling documents bearing counterfeit federal agency seals.

Prosecutors said 65-year-old Robert E. Neener of Smithville operated a document vending business from his home, advertising for clients on the Internet. Investigators said he received more than $200,000 from customers who ordered thousands of documents.

Prosecutors said he used the official seals of various federal agencies including the military branches, Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, the Drug Enforcement Administration and others.

U.S. District Court Judge Todd Campbell also ordered Neener to pay more than $43,000 in restitution to 600 victims who had purchased documents from him through the Internet.
