WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn.- A Williamson County Sheriff's Deputy is being credited with saving a life, after talking a woman out of jumping off a bridge.
Deputy Telayna Luttrell spotted a woman sitting on the railing of the Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge in Williamson County, a bridge notorious for jumpers. Deputy Luttrell was able to talk the woman down, and get her to a hospital to be evaluated by a mental health official.
Fourteen people have committed suicide at that bridge since 2000. There are now signs on the bridge urging folks to call a crisis center
