Lawrenceburg Mother Charged After Leaving Infant Home Alone

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn.- A Lawrenceburg woman has been charged after leaving her nine-month-old baby home alone.

Officials with the Lawrenceburg Police Office said that 29-year-old Jodi Beth Bell left her baby alone at her apartment last Saturday night while she went out to celebrate the birthday of a friend. According to police the child was left alone for several hours.

Bell was arrested on Tuesday and after further investigation Lawrenceburg Police removed Bell's other two children into the Department of Children's Services custody. She was being held in the Lawrence County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
