Sales Tax Holiday Dates Set For August

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- With school just around the corner for most kids, that means back to school shopping for parents.

To help with the back to school shopping rush the Tennessee Department of Revenue annual sales tax holiday will run August 3 to August 5^th. During this time customers won't have to pay state or local sales tax on clothing, school, and art supplies costing under $100 per item.
