BOLIVAR, Tenn. (AP) - Bolivar Police have charged a man in the fatal shooting of another man at a house party.

According to The Jackson Sun, police charged 23-year-old Fabian Bills with second-degree murder and the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon while in commission of a felony.

Medics arrived at the house early Tuesday to find 28-year-old Jamarcus Hurde shot in the back. Hurde was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital. Police Chief Patrick Baker said there was a lot of blood and could be other victims. Only one wounded person was known.

Police found Bills at a Whiteville motel under an assumed name. He was arrested without incident.

The Hardeman County Sheriff's Office did not immediately provide information about whether Bills was held there.
