Titans Player Helps Get Kids Moving

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The Girls Incorporated Summer Camp is dedicated to inspire young women to be strong, smart, and bold and on Wednesday a special guest showed up to start their day off right.

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks led the camp's morning workout, bringing his skills from the field into the YWCA dance studio. One way Marks got the girls moving was stepping.

The Titan heads up his own after-school program called Stepping Start -- using the form of dance to bring kids together.

"I just feel like it was just great to come out and team up with Girls Inc -- and you know it's also another way of getting the kids out and getting them active, have them move around... you know something to get them outta the house and something to get them involved," said Marks.

The Girls Inc. non-profit serves more than 100,000 young women nationwide.
