HOPKINSVILLE, Tenn.- Police in Hopkinsville have arrested a man they said broke into a home while naked.
Earlier in the month, a man who lives on Keeton Drive told police he woke after hearing someone moving inside his home. He went to look, even checking outside, but saw nothing suspicious. He then walked back into his bedroom and found a long-haired, scruffy-looking man standing right next to his wife's side of the bed. The man was not wearing any clothes, and ran from the home.
Officials arrested 33-year-old Michael McLendon and charged him with attempted burglary. Surveillance video of the incident showed McLendon, shirtless and checking door handles and peeking in windows of homes in the area.
McLendon was being held in the Christian County Jail in a $10,000 bond.
