Tractor Trailer Crash Blocks I-40W Exit Ramp In Hermitage - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A crash has blocked the exit ramp of I-40 west in Hermitage on Thursday morning.

A tractor-trailer overturned in a ditch on the ramp for exit 221 to Old Hickory Boulevard around 8:30 a.m. One person was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The on and off ramps to Old Hickory Boulevard have been blocked as they work to clear the scene. Both directions of traffic are being diverted to alternate routes.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation estimated it would be cleared by 5 p.m.
