Police Search For Couple Who Picked Up Lost Service Dog

GALLATIN, Tenn.- Gallatin Police are looking for a couple they said picked up a lost dog earlier this month.

Police said a man and woman picked up the dog at the Sudden Service station located at Airport Road and Coles Ferry Road on July 6, 2012.

Officials said the dog is a service dog, whose owner is 85% deaf.

According to police the couple has not returned to the gas station since picking up the dog. The dog was picked up in a blue pickup truck. The owners were thought to work in Gallatin and live in Westmoreland.

Anyone having information concerning the identity or whereabouts of the couple was asked to call the Gallatin Police Department at 615-452-1313.
