HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.- While the number of Tennesseans without jobs is growing, one local business has put out the help wanted signs.
MGM Industries is a family-owned, home-grown business. They make vinyl windows and doors and a short time ago announced they're added 75 jobs and $3 million in capital investments.
MGM is doing this with very little help from the state only a $30,000 grant for job training. State officials say that is because of the way they do business.
"This is a great example of a company that's weathered the storm. The housing market is very, very challenging and MGM has been able to survive and gain market share. The same thing is happening in the state of Tennessee," said Bill Hagerty, with Economic Community Development.
The company currently employs 218 people in Sumner County.
