Rockslide Blocks Northbound I-65 Near Old Hickory Blvd. - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The right lanes of northbound Interstate 65 on the north side of Davidson County were closed after a rockslide.

The incident happened at mile marker 91.8 near the Old Hickory Boulevard in the Madison area around 10 p.m. Friday.

Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said northbound traffic was affected with the right lanes blocked.

Southbound lanes were not affected.

The rockslide coincided with a heavy rainstorm that moved through Nashville Friday night, but it was not known if rain was a factor.

Crews expected to have the roads cleared by 1 a.m.
