WILSON COUNTY, Tenn.- Congressional
candidate Lou Ann Zelenik has a new legal battle on her hands.
The Republican was
supposed to be in Wilson County court on July 12th. It was about a business
venture with the Macon County Chronicle. But the day before, her attorney asked to
reschedule because the meeting slipped Zelenik's mind and she was too busy campaigning.
The request was denied.
Zelenik never showed up.
Now the attorneys for the
newspaper have asked the judge to levy a criminal
contempt charge against her. She's due back in court, this
September.
