NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Thousands of people rely on public transportation every day, so now the Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority is seeking input from the people it serves.
MTA will hold four public hearings Monday and Tuesday regarding improvements to several routes. Improvements are being proposed for routes 2 Belmont, 7 Hillsboro, 12 Nolensville Road and 23 Dickerson Road.
A new service along Dickerson Road to Whites Creek Pike and adjustments to the West End corridor are also on the agenda to be discussed.
The Regional Transportation Authority will present proposed expanded service for Rutherford, Sumner, and Williamson Counties.
Monday's meetings are at the Music City Central Building on Charlotte Ave at 11:00 a.m. and then again at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, there will be meetings at the same times and location.
MTA is encouraging the public to attend the meetings or send comments to the MTA Planning Department:
