Man Allegedly Tries To Set Fire At Rescue Mission

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man has been arrested for allegedly trying to set a fire at the Nashville Rescue Mission.

Kevin Armstrong was arrested Sunday for several charges, including arson.

According to an affidavit, Armstrong lit two trash cans and dumpsters on fire near the mission.

Mission employees said this was after Armstrong had been kicked out of the mission for drinking beer in the parking lot naked. Armstrong told police he was naked because the mission stole his clothes.
