Police Identify Man Run Over In Motorcycle Crash

JACKSON, Tenn.- Police have released the identity of a motorcyclist who was killed after being run over by a car.

It happened over the weekend. Investigator said 49-year-old Mark Gardner was traveling south on Christmasville Road in Jackson when he lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle. A driver headed the opposite direction tried to swerve to miss the crash instead accidentally running over the Gardner.

Police said neither speed nor alcohol were involved in the crash. Officials were still investigating
