Stolen Car Leads To Police Pursuit In Macon County

MACON COUNTY, Tenn.- Tennessee Highway Patrol Officers were involved in a high speed chase involving a stolen vehicle.

The chase occurred on Highway 52 in Macon County and ended just before the Sumner County line. Officials said officers were pursuing a suspect in a stolen vehicle. According to police, the suspect abandoned the car near the county line and continued to flee on foot.

It was unclear if the suspect was in custody.
