NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Changes will be coming to Metro School lunches this school year.
On Tuesday, officials with Metro School spent the day training all school Café Managers on a new meal pattern which will only be healthier but cheaper too. The new pattern requires students who select a meal in the cafeteria to take certain items in order to qualify as a complete meal.
If a student does not take all required items, the student does not have a complete meal and will be charged the à la carte price for each item selected. The first day of school is August first.
