WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. - Authorities announced a new push to find an accused child rapist exactly one year since his run from the law began.

Law enforcement officials said Wednesday they are continuing to track leads in the case of Stephen Eugene Beck.

Beck faces nearly three dozen charges out of Wilson County, including child rape charges. He was out on bond and set to be in court on July 25, 2011, but never showed up.

Officials said they have received tips from several surrounding states, and Beck has been listed on the TBI's top ten most wanted list.

The district attorney in Wilson County said they are investigating some of his family members who may be helping avoid capture.

Police are worried Beck could go after more victims.

"A lot of sex offenders are con men, and it's our fear that he will find a family or another victim that he can con and become part of that family and end up abusing or molesting female children in that family," said Bob Harrison with the Wilson County Sheriff's Department.

Beck was indicted in August 2010 on nine counts of rape of a child, 16 counts of rape, and 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Beck was also indicted in August 2010 in Rutherford County on three counts of rape of a child.

He was out on $150,000 bond in Wilson County and a $1 million dollar bond in Rutherford County.

He has a tattoo on his left shoulder of a heart with the name "April" across it.

Police believe Beck could still be in Tennessee. They want the public to be on the lookout for him, and notify law enforcement with any information.
