Woman Wakes To Find Stranger In Apartment

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.- Police in Hendersonville said a woman woke up to find a stranger in her apartment.

It happened at an apartment complex on Center Point Road early Wednesday morning. Officials said 20-year-old Michael D. McKissack broke into the apartment while the victim was sleeping. McKissack was also thought to have broken into several other apartments in the same area.

McKissack was charged with aggravated burglary, assault, theft and vandalism charges. He was being held in the Sumner County Jail pending a September court day.
