Man Arrested After Driving On Wrong Side of Road

FRANKLIN, Tenn.- A Franklin man and his passenger were both arrested for DUIs after the driver was caught driving down the wrong side of the road.

Police said it happened on Wednesday night on Meridian Boulevard. Officers stopped 37-year-old David Diefenbaugh, after they watched him drive down the wrong side of the road. After being stopped officers found that Diefenbaugh was impaired as was his passenger 37-year-old April Hicks.

Both Hicks and Diefenbaugh were arrested and charged with DUI. Hicks was charged with DUI by Consent for simply allowing Diefenbaugh to drive her car, drunk
