Hope Hines Autographs Copies Of His New Book

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former NewsChannel 5 Sports Anchor Hope Hines has more than 40 years experience covering sports, six Emmy awards and plenty of stories to tell.

They are stories he chronicled in his first book In Hines' Sight: The Ups, Downs, and Rebounds of 40 Years in Sports Broadcasting. On Thursday, Hines signed copies of his book at Parnassus in Green Hills.

Hope said despite leaving the anchor chair behind, he still loves to meet the folks out and about in the mid-state. Hope stepped down as NewsChannel 5's sports director last year.
