Attack Ad Found To Be Fraudulent

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Fact checkers said one of the attack ads in the race between Diane Black and Lou Ann Zelenik is a deliberate distortion intended to deceive voters.

The ad was run by Citizens for Ethics in Government, a PAC run by a former Zelenik campaign staffer. It claims that Diane Black voted to fund The Affordable Care Act.

Politifact took a look at the claims, and found that it mischaracterized votes that fund the government as a vote to support the Health Care Reforms.
