NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police are searching for a man who robbed a Evergreen Cash Advance on Thompson Lane.
The robbery happened on July 20.Officials said the suspect entered the business, demanded money at gunpoint and then placed road flares taped together on the counter before leaving. Police called the Hazardous Devices Unit to disarm the device.
Investigators described the suspect as a black man who is approximately 5'9" tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. At the time of the robbery he wore a dreadlock wig, large sunglasses and a mask. He carried a tan messenger bag.
The suspect fled the scene in a small dark blue Mazda 3 with fender damage.
Anyone with information about this crime was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
