COOKEVILLE, Tenn.- In Putnam County, guns were found in the
theatre during a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises."
According to the Herald-Citizen,
movie employees called police after seeing a man with a holster on his hip go
into a theater showing the new Batman movie at the Highland 12 Theater. Police could not identify the man
employees were referencing, so the theater turned the movie off to allow
officers to find him.
As it turns out, three
different men with carry permits had their guns on them. They were all asked to
put the guns back in their cars. The theater has a sign saying guns are not
allowed. Police suggested the theatre make the sign more noticeable.
