NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro Police are looking for a male suspect who shot a man after trying to steal his car in East Nashville.

Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, the victim told police he was leaving the Family Wash on Greenwood Avenue when a man with a gun approached him. The victim got in his car and said the gunman then shot him in his neck.

The victim went to the hospital with serious injuries, but was expected to survive.
