CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- Sometimes students need a little motivation to study hard, so one company's asking, "How does a new car sound?"
Saturday, Wyatt Johnson Automotive handed out a new car as part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School's "Pass and Go Program." The winner was Northwest High graduate Eric Phillips. He passed four AP exams in order to be eligible for the car. Phillips is headed to UT Knoxville this fall.
This is the 4th year for the car giveaway. The program's purpose is to encourage students to take more rigorous classes.
