Child Located; Kidnapping Claim Unfounded

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro police said a kidnapping claim overnight was unfounded.

Police said a woman called 911 to report that her four-month-old infant had been kidnapped overnight by her boyfriend after the pair had gotten into a fight.

However, police said the child and father were later located unharmed. The boyfriend was questioned, but does not face any charges.

Police said the boyfriend left with the child because the mother was extremely intoxicated.
