BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified the three victims of a fatal crash in West Tennessee as men from Louisville, Kentucky.
According to The Commercial Appeal, troopers said those killed Monday on Interstate 40 near Brownsville were 21-year-old Fernando Carrasco, 36-year-old Jose Hinojosa and Lupe Hinojosa, whose age wasn't immediately known.
Troopers said the pickup truck in which the men were passengers blew a tire and ran across the median, into the path of a tractor-trailer rig. The pickup driver was critically injured. Another passenger was released from a hospital after treatment, and the tractor-trailer driver escaped injury in the head-on collision.
No citations were issued.
