One Person Shot In North Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police are searching for a gunman after one person was shot at a home on Second Avenue.

Police said that 34-year-old Michael Kennedy was shot in the stomach by 36-year-old Kenneth Washington. According to officials, Washington arrived home to find Kennedy there with his girlfriend. Some kind of altercation took place and Kennedy was shot.

Washington fled the scene in a gold color vehicle. Kennedy was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.
