NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A driver accused of a hit-and-run crash in north Nashville was arrested after crashing his car into a fast food restaurant.
Police said a pedestrian was hit by a car around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on Cephas Street. The driver did not stop.
About an hour later, the same car crashed in the drive-thru at the Burger King in Madison. Police said the driver, identified as 26-year-old Ahsan Wynn, was extremely intoxicated. He was taken into custody and allegedly admitted to drinking.
He was charged with DUI, and other charges related to the hit-and-run crash.
Police said the pedestrian's hair and blood was found on the hood of Wynn's car. The pedestrian was not seriously injured.
