NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - WLAC-AM will be the flagship station broadcasting Vanderbilt football and men's basketball games under a multiyear agreement announced Wednesday.

The first game under the contract will be the South Carolina football game August 30 in Nashville.

A news release from the school Wednesday said the station, 1510 on the dial, can be heard at night in more than 25 states.

WRQQ of Nashville, the former flagship station, relinquished broadcast rights when it changed formats in early July to emphasize national programming.
