Arrest Made In Jefferson Street Murder

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police have arrested a man accused of murdering a man outside a Jefferson Street restaurant last month.

Police said that Rae Shean Buggs was arrested Wednesday in connection with the murder of 32-year-old Jason Thomas. Thomas was shot to death around 11:30 on the night of June 12 outside Harper's Restaurant on Jefferson Street.

Officials said that witnesses to the crime came forward and were able to positively identify Buggs as the shooter.

Buggs was taken into police custody. The motive for the murder remains under investigation. Charges and bond information were not released.
