NASHVILLE, Tenn.- There is still time for children who haven't gotten their required school immunizations yet, but only a few more days.
Certain shots are required for all Metro 7th graders, kindergartners, and pre-K students. Students, who not have proof of shots by August 3, only have five days to receive their shots before they will not be allowed to attend school.
Free immunizations are available to students under 18 that aren't covered by insurance at a several local clinics including the Main Street Clinic on 905 Main Street in Nashville. Appointments are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information call 615-620-8647.
