Dana Rich
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A woman was charged with DUI after allegedly flipping her car on a Franklin roadway on Wednesday night.
Police responded to a rollover crash in the 500 block of Riverview Drive just before midnight. When they got on the scene, they found the driver, 40-year-old Dana Rich, hanging upside down with her seatbelt still on in the driver's seat of her 2001 Toyota.
Rich was freed by rescue workers, and then taken to the hospital to be checked out.
Rich was arrested following her release from the hospital, and charged DUI, Violation of the Implied Consent Law, and Failure to Maintain a Lane.
Rich was also arrested in December 2011 on DUI charges in Franklin. She was also charged with bribery in that incident, after telling the arresting officer she'd write him a check for $1,000 to let her go.
A court date was scheduled for August 9.
