Suspicious Package In Dickson Found To Be Beer Cans - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. – The Dickson County Sheriff's Department has been called out to investigate a suspicious package at the courthouse on Friday morning.

The package appear to be a black leather messenger bag left near county offices. Officers were unclear of where the package came from, so they chose to err on the side of caution and called the Montgomery County Bomb squad in to investigate. 

Several surrounding buildings including the post office on 4 Court Square in Charlotte were evacuated during the investigation. 

The Montgomery County Bomb squad investigated the package and discovered four cans of beer inside the bag.
