Man Charged After Allegedly Exchanging Child Porn

SMITH COUNTY, Tenn. – A Smith County man could face additional charges after being arrested for allegedly exchanging child pornography.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested 51-year-old Doug Clemmons on Thursday night after executing a search warrant at his home on Lebanon Road in Carthage. They had received information that he was engaged in illegal activities involving a minor.

He was charged with one count of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor after exchanging child pornography with another individual.

Clemmons was booked into the Smith County jail without bond.
