CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police have arrested one man and hope to find another man who were caught on surveillance robbing a gas station at gunpoint in Clarksville over the weekend.
Christopher Randolph, 22, was charged with aggravated robbery, driving on a revoked or suspended license, drug and unlawful drug paraphernalia, and a probation violation. Police are searching for 20-year-old Malcolm Rashaad Wright.
Police said the pair had their faces covered when they entered the Kangaroo Express on Dover Road around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Wright was carrying a handgun, according to police. They demanded money, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said they were believed to have left in a blue Oldsmobile with dark tinted windows.
Randolph was held on $27,500 combined bond.
Wright has a tattoo of a dollar sign on his left cheek, and should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call Clarksville Police Tips Line at (931) 645-TIPS.
