Man Drowns At Percy Priest Lake

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Divers have recovered the body of a man who friends say jumped into Percy Priest Lake and never came out.

Crews were called to a water rescue at Long Hunter State Park around noon Tuesday.

Sky 5 showed an Office of Emergency Management boat underneath a cliff with divers going into the water just before 1 p.m. Other law enforcement stood at the top of the cliff.

The victim was identified as 20-year-old Travoris Nawls. Rescuers say Nawls wasn't wearing a life vest.
