WOODBURY, Tenn. – Police hope to find the man who robbed Cash Express in Woodbury at gunpoint on Monday night.
Woodbury Police said a man entered the store at 103 East Main Street with a chrome handgun around 5 p.m. The robber then forced the clerk behind the counter, taking approximately $3,400 in cash from the register, before fleeing on foot.
Police said he was later seen getting into a silver Dodge Avenger, which headed toward McMinnville.
The vehicle had been seen earlier getting gas at the Woodbury Farmers Co-op with the robbery suspect and two other people inside.
Police continue to investigate, and hope surveillance from Cash Express and Farmers Co-op will help them identify the suspect and vehicle.
