Two Teens Found Safe After Endangered Child Alert

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A Middle Tennessee endangered child alert has been canceled for two teenagers in Jackson County after they were found safe.

Officials said that 16-year-old Courtney Hawkins and her boyfriend 16-year-old Dillan Stewart were located in Gainesboro around midnight.

They had been last seen at Jackson County High School on Tuesday around 4 p.m. Police said that Courtney's car was found in the school parking lot early Wednesday morning with a cracked windshield and a footprint in the driver's side door.

No other details were known.
