NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Strong storms with high winds and hail moved through Middle Tennessee on Thursday morning, prompting warnings and leaving behind some damage.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Coffee, eastern Putnam, Van Buren, and White Counties until 3 p.m. A flash flood warning was issued for Cumberland County until 3:30 p.m.
Damage was reported in Springfield and Pleasant View after the storms made their way through earlier in the morning.
Straight line winds damaged at least one home on Lakeshore Drive in Beechgrove in Coffee County.
