West End Bank Robbed By Masked Gunman

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro Police and the FBI hope to find the gunman who robbed a West End bank on Thursday afternoon.

Officials said the robbery occurred at the Civic Bank and Trust on West End Avenue just after 2:30 p.m. According to police, one man, wearing an old man mask, sunglasses, and a blue ball cap, entered the bank yelling "robbery, robbery."

He was given cash and may have fled the scene in a newer, silver Nissan Altima possibly driven by a second person.

Anyone with information about this crime was asked to call Metro Police at 74-CRIME.
