BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - The FBI needs help finding a person who is suspected in a pair of recent bank robberies in north Alabama.
Agents said a man entered the Peoples Bank in Guntersville on August 2 and gave a teller a note demanding money. The bandit claimed to have a gun.
The FBI said a similar holdup occurred six days later in at a Traditions Bank near Priceville. A man with roughly the same description entered the bank and handed a teller a note claiming he had a gun.
Officials haven't said how much money was taken in either case, but the FBI is seeking the public's help.
Digital billboards operated by Lamar Outdoor Advertising in Alabama and Tennessee are being used to flash pictures as authorities try to identify the suspect.
