NASHVILLE, Tenn.- During a celebration of her latest CD going gold, entertainer Dolly Parton let slip that her Snow and Water Park project here in Nashville has been put on hold.
Parton was in town Friday to commemorate her Cracker Barrel CD going gold. The restaurant celebrated by presenting her with a framed montage, which she said she will put it in her Chasin' Rainbow Museum at Dollywood.
She also mentioned to reporters that Gaylord, the company that owns the land needed for her new Snow and Water Park project, has been busy with the Marriott deal so plans for her project are in a holding pattern.
Parton said nothing's been signed yet, but she hopes it's still going to work out.
In a statement released Friday, Gaylord said they were "one hundred percent committed to the Dollywood water/snow
park project,".
