Man Charged In Shooting Death Of Nightclub Employee

MT. JULIET, Tenn. - One person was taken into in custody for the murder of a nightclub employee in Mt. Juliet.

Samuel Ramsey has been charged with criminal homicide for the shooting death of Maurice Dobson.

Officials with the Wilson County Sheriff's Department said Maurice Dobson was directing traffic at the "Fat Friday" bar in Mt. Juliet when he was shot from a moving vehicle on Friday night.

Dobson was transported by LifeFlight medical helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but he later died as a result of his injuries.

Detectives said it looks like the shooting was drug related.
