NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man has been arrested for allegedly hitting a motorcycle while driving drunk.
Police said the crash happened at Franklin Pike and Battery Lane on Saturday.
When they got there, the driver, Jason Pierson, had walked away from the scene leaving the motorcyclist on the ground.
Police found Pierson passed out in a nearby field. He was later taken to the hospital for a drug test.
Police later learned Pierson had been driving on a revoked license and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with a broken leg.
