NASHVILLE, Tenn. - After a strong set of thunderstorms moved through the mid-state, a second round is possible on Monday afternoon.
Storms with hail moved their way across the mid-state on Monday morning, prompting warnings across the area.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Coffee, Grundy, Van Buren and Warren Counties until 8 p.m.
NewsChannel 5 meteorologist Lelan Statom said a cold front has approached the region. Increasing moisture levels will combine with the front to produce scattered showers and storms.
A few of the storms could be strong to severe with wind and hail the main threat.
