BEDFORD COUNTY, Tenn. – A mother and daughter have been arrested for allegedly hiring two men to kill a Bedford County man.
On Friday night, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation charged 20-year-old Sean Gearhardt and 25-year-old Jason Starrick with one count of criminal homicide for the murder of 55-year-old Larry Walls. The victim's wife, 54-year-old Susan Walls, and daughter, 27-year-old Dawn Walls, were arrested and charged Saturday with one count of criminal responsibility for the conduct of another to commit criminal homicide.
Larry Walls was found murdered by his wife in his ransacked home on Enon Church Road in Unionsville on August 8. The investigation revealed Susan and Dawn Walls entered into an agreement to pay Gearhardt and Starrick $400 to kill Larry Walls.
Investigators learned Gearhardt, Starrick, and Dawn Walls were roommates in Antioch.
The TBI investigated the case with the Bedford County Sheriff's Office.
All four suspects were booked into the Bedford County Jail without bond. A court date is scheduled for August 15.
